Now, for something complete different and not quite so pathetic, I've been tagged! Yay! I've never been tagged before. I love Aimee.
What were you doing 10 years ago? I was married, my son was not quite one year old and I was a SAHM. I loved that time, as brief as it was. 1996 was also the year my marriage finally went kaput.
What were you doing 1 year ago? I think my son and I had just returned from our Florida vacation to Disney and Sea World. That was our very first vacation together just the two of us.
Five snacks I enjoy:
Cheese Nips - but they have to be Cheese Nips, I don't like Cheez-its.
Tootsie Rolls - I could eat a whole bag
Fudgesicles
Saltine crackers and peanut butter
Cheese. Glorious cheese. Any color, shape, or texture will do.
Five songs to which I know all the lyrics
I have an odd thing where I know the lyrics to just about any song ever recorded. It's annoying to those who ride in my car but I make a great "Name that Tune" partner.
Five things I would do if I were a millionaire:
I'd hire Bob from the Biggest Loser to come bust my ass into shape
Put my son in a private school for junior high and high school
Travel
Pay my parents back with interest for all of the times they've bailed me out
And I'd probably hire an accountant too because I don't think I could handle that kind of money on my own.
Five bad habits:
1. I’m on the computer too much (saved from Aimee - same here!)
2. Snacking instead of eating (kept this from Aimee who kept it from Barb)
3. I bite my nails
4. Yelling at other motorists when my son is with me for little things like going under the speed limit or not speeding up to get through the yellow light, thus forcing me to stop.
5. I ramble.
Five things I like doing:
1. Reading (kept from Aimee)
2. Hanging out with my family (kept from Aimee)
3. Eating
4. Movies
5. Sleeping, period.
Five things I would never wear, buy or get new again:
1. A poncho
2. Hats - I just don't have a head that looks good in a hat
3. Scrunchies
4. Tom Cruise anything. Sorry, but I had to boycott him. No movies, videos, magazines, or twirlygigs with his face in it or on it.
5. And...a kilt. I don't know. There's not a whole lot I can swear to NEVER wear or own again. Never is a long, long time for a girl with a penchant for doing the wrong thing.
Five favorite toys:
1. books
2. my computer
3. my DVR
4. my boyfriend
5. my new DVD recorder given by previously mentioned boyfriend
